SDE Optimizing Conditions

ASDE surveys all SDE communities/programs about how they provide, enhance, or align with each of the Six Optimizing Conditions for young people to succeed in SDE.  Survey answers:
  1. Responsibility – Freedom with accountability are essential to the development of personal responsibility.
  2. Youth Autonomy – (not answered)
  3. Access to Tools and Technology – There are many resources available to the students depending on their interests.
  4. Adult Allies – Staff is there to support students need when asked. No coercion or guidance is offered.
  5. Free Age Mixing – A mixed age community for children ages 5-18 and adult staff, all on equal footing with an equal voice and vote.
  6. Community – (not answered)
