SDE Optimizing Conditions

ASDE surveys all SDE communities/programs about how they provide, enhance, or align with each of the Six Optimizing Conditions for young people to succeed in SDE.  Survey answers:
  1. Responsibility – Every child chooses his own plan and schedules the facilitators follow up with him on his own plans we also enable kids to take responsibilities school pets and plants, cleaning, organizing,taking care of each others and other responsibilities
  2. Youth Autonomy – We build a very rich inviroment to our kids and allow them to explore on there own and be there for them to facilitate what they are interested in We let the time, space and power to explore and descover themselves and there own interests
  3. Access to Tools and Technology – We allow them tools and facilities which help them find out their passion and interests and serve our goals in enabling and empowering them
  4. Adult Allies – We make parent, facilitators cooperative system that care for each and all children and help them to use their abilities and build strong bonds with them
  5. Free Age Mixing – Yes we have age range from 3 to 10 years old we design activities that allow age mixing and enable elders to take care of younger ones and pass their experiences and knowledge for them
  6. Community – The kids make their own rules in the meetings and help each other to apply it without need of applying power No one is allowed to be rude to kids by any means They have the right to discuss the rules and the process all the time
