Ashley Jefferson: Ms. Ashley (she/her) is the early childhood enthisiast and play advocate. She brings her 20+ years of experience as an early childhood teacher, museum curator, and performer as the Founder of Play Plan Afrikan, an early learning collective, and Nguzo Babies, a children's puppet show. Ms. Ashley is also a prolific curriculum author, the popular being her Kwanzaa 365 curriculum to help classrooms integrate cultural diversity. She has most recently written her book "All of Me is Nature" a children's story about the ways in which children use their senses in nature. Her passion is offering support and quality resources to families with young children to restore the beauty of childhood and family pastimes.

David O'Connor: David O'Connor is an Agile Learning Facilitator at Philly ALC, and believes the most important skills we can work on are creative problem solving and building meaningful community. David has been working with young people in various capacities all throughout his career as a theater maker, and teaching artist. David brings his interest in theater and performance, design and storytelling, a love of the outdoors, games and gaming, puzzles, politics. David has two kids who are self-directed learners, and is passionate about liberation in learning for all people.
