Many parents turn to self-directed education when it becomes clear that their child needs something quite different to what is offered at mainstream school. But what does self-directed education really look like for neurodivergent children? In Dr. Fisher’s new book, A Different Way to Learn: Neurodiversity and Self-Directed Education, she centers the voices of families and young people to show what learning can look like when you don’t do school.

Dr. Fisher, clinical psychologist and author, will join us for a discussion of educational environments that foster meaningful learning for neurodivergent young people. Q&A will follow.
