Judy Arnall, BA, CCFE, DTM is a professional speaker and a well-known child development expert, having given advice for television interviews on CBC, CTV, Global, as well as publications such as Chatelaine, Today’s Parent, Canadian Living, Parents magazine, and various newspapers. She has taught child development at The University of Calgary and Alberta Health Services and provides live webinars on self-directed education. Judy recently completed the Brain Core Story Certification Course.
Judy is the author of the print bestseller, Discipline Without Distress: 135 Tools for raising caring, responsible children without time-out, spanking, punishment or bribery. Judy is a parenting expert for Scholar’s Choice Canada, Labatt Canada, and Mothering. As a parent of three university graduate adults and two teens, Judy has a broad understanding of the issues facing the digital generation. She released a DVD titled Plugged-In Parenting: Connecting with the Digital Generation for Health, Safety and Love. She is also author of The Last Word on Parenting Advice, and Parenting With Patience: Turn frustration into connection with 3 easy steps, and the new Attachment Parenting Tips Raising Toddlers To Teens. Her latest book is Unschooling To University: Relationships Matter Most in a World Crammed With Content. Judy founded the non-profit, Unschooling Canada Association.
