We are a collective of the Greater Sacramento Area SDE enthusiasts gathering to increase awareness of SDE, build community, share resources and hang out. Join the facebook group to find out about events happening soon.

We want this group to be a safe place to support each other, connect, and collaborate our efforts to promote and provide greater awareness and access to Self-Directed Education for more kids and their families.

SDE can include topics such as, unschooling, free schooling, child led learning, whole life learning, interest led learning, natural learning, hack schooling, world schooling, road schooling, outdoor learning, democratic schools, Sudbury schools, Agile Learning Centers, forest schools, Liberated Learning Centers, Big Picture Learning, and more.

Who: This group is for kids, parents, teachers, administrators, policy makers, enthusiasts, and more.
What: Learn about SDE, meet new friends, have fun chatting, connecting, and collaborating with each other!
Where: All over the Sacramento and surrounding Areas.
When: We are working on gathering every couple of months, join the Facebook group to stay updated.
