THIS Saturday – Event with ASDE Organizers
Are you in need of support on your Self-Directed Education journey?
Join us this Saturday!
Hello,
This Saturday, June 10th from 3-4:30 pm Eastern, ASDE Organizers – Daveed Jacobo, Domari Dickinson, Bria Bloom, and Alexander Khost will be hosting an “Ask Me Anything” event on Zoom. Together, Bria, Domari, Daveed, and Alex have decades of experience working with young people, parenting, facilitating, working with parents and families, and advocating for Self-Directed Education and youth liberation.
“How do I get my child to care about the things I think are important?”
“How will my children learn to do things they don’t want to do?”
“How did you know you were choosing the right path for your family?”
“How do you talk to friends and family about SDE and unschooling when they believe that conventional schooling is the only viable route to a ‘good life’?”
“What are the hard-won lessons you’ve learned from working in an SDE center?”
“What’s something you believed at the beginning of your SDE journey that you have since changed your views on?”
All of these questions and more could be answered if only you would come and ask them!
This event is pay what you can. We strive to keep our events and offerings accessible to everyone without financial barriers to access, but we do need donations in order to keep doing the work that we do. If you are able, please make a contribution for a ticket to this event. Any amount helps!
