ASDE Joins the Rights-Centric Education Network as a Founding Member
The Rights-Centric Education Network (RCE Network) is an effort is to accelerate the establishment of a community of practice with human rights as its unifier. The goal is to pull education into alignment with the evolution of human rights. The network is not an organization as such. It is the cultivation of an idea, which is to build into the global consciousness the concept of an identifiable community of practice that adds credibility to the various ways that we strive to evolve human rights.
ASDE has signed on as a founding member of this important network because the network’s work aligns with our values, mission, and vision for the future of education and the rights of young people.
To learn more about the RCE Network, check out their website, read the Articles of Association, and read the Declaration of Child-Rights Centric Education draft, which will be finalized and collecting signatures later this month.
Also – check out RCE’s talk at the INSPIRE Education Summit.
