“Peace, I’m Akilah S. Richards. I’m an unschooler, an author, a mother of daughters, and an amplifier for the voices and needs of people of color in Self-Directed Education. I host a weekly SDE podcast called Fare of the Free Child, where we talk about unschooling as a means of liberation. I’m a Jamaican-born sea lover, and my family and I have been digital nomads for the past seven years.
